چکیده
This paper deals with the exergy analysis of two experimental prototypes consisting indirect evaporative cooling systems different constructive characteristics. Both have been designed and manufactured in Thermal Engineering Laboratory University Valladolid. They are made polycarbonate hollow panels cross section connected into a heat recovery cycle. Each prototype has tested at 4 levels outdoor air volume flow (from 125 to 400 m 3 ·h −1 ) dry bulb temperature 25 40 °C). For each 16 operating conditions destructed by calculated. Results show that higher primary inlet, destruction losses. The increases when wet depression secondary inlet decreases, leading more inefficient configurations. value exergetic efficiency is order 2–12 %. optimum combination any can be proposed as: 300 h 200 . for wide narrow plates prototype, respectively.

Exergy Analysis of Evaporative Cooling for Optimum Energy Consumption in Diverse Climate Conditions
In this paper, exergy of conditioned air, exergy efficiency, irreversibility, and entropy generation of common models of evaporative cooling have been investigated in five cities of Iran. Direct evaporative cooling (DEC), indirect evaporative cooling (IEC), and two-stage IEC/DEC as the most popular methods of cooling have been modeled. Atmospheric conditions are considered as the dead state of ...

متن کاملAnalysis of Exergy of Moist Air and Energy Saving Potential in Hvac by Evaporative Cooling or Energy Recovery
Of evaporative cooling or energy recovery potential in HVAC, the conventional thermodynamic analysis is based on the enthalpy of moist air. In fact, the available energy of moist air is its exergy and the available energy saving potential ought to be the exergy. Isoexergic lines on psychometric charts associated with different ambient states persuade us that exergy and enthalpy are completely i...

متن کاملExergy Analysis of Vapour and Sorption Cooling Processes
Exergy is precious energy. On the basis of thermodynamic analysis of thermal processes, one can choose more exergy-saving devices. This is especially important in refrigeration processes, in which the consumption of energy and exergy increases considerably with the falling cooling temperature. The exergy efficiency in terms of exergy losses of vapour compression and sorption cooling processes i...
